If Ua could somehow utilize one of these type of graphics cards whilst keeping the copy protection that would be awesome. They've managed to run Nebula 3 with big vector based convolutions on an Nvidea graphics card with success and Nebula 3 on high quality with a big reverb uses a lot of cpu. Think of being able to run as many 1073's as you can run Cambridges. Think of the convolution programs you could run with 1gb of ram, think of the extra quality of the plugins. The power of this card is immense! There is no way that any 1996 gpu running at 125mhz could be anything less than 30-40 times less powerful.

On the plus side this shows how amazing Ua is at programming audio plugins. No matter how much spin you put on it, the Mpact 2 is still a 125 mhz graphics card form 1996/7. I think that all changed after a short time though. If I remember rightly in the early days of the Uad-1 you used to be able to get one of those Winfast pci graphics cards and run the Uad-1 plugins on them.
